About this policy
Thief Hall is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected.
Information you choose to send
The enquiry form asks for your full name, your partner's name if you choose to provide it, your email address, telephone number and preferred date. Submissions are sent to and stored in BriteBiz, the venue's booking and CRM system, and in Thief Hall's account in Agency OS, operated by Copper Lane to support enquiry handling. Cloudflare Turnstile checks form submissions to help prevent spam.
Thief Hall uses this information to respond to the enquiry you chose to send and for internal record keeping. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a booking contract is entered into. The same applies if you choose to contact Thief Hall by email or telephone.
Thief Hall will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless you have given permission or it is required by law.
Website chat and AI-assisted replies
If you use the website chat, your name, email address, optional telephone number and messages are stored in Thief Hall's Agency OS account, operated by Copper Lane, so the venue team can respond to your enquiry. The chat may use OpenAI to prepare replies using reviewed public information about the venue. It identifies itself as a virtual assistant; the venue team confirms prices, availability and any arrangements personally.
Please do not share sensitive personal information, payment details or private guest information in the chat. The chat uses browser storage to maintain your conversation. Starting a conversation is not consent to marketing. You can ask to speak to the venue team or contact jessica@thiefhall.co.uk instead.
Security
Thief Hall is committed to keeping information secure and to using suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard information it holds.
Analytics
With your permission, this website uses Google Analytics to understand visits and completed enquiries. Analytics cookies last up to six months. Analytics does not load until you accept it. You can reject analytics or withdraw permission using Cookie settings in the footer. Your choice is remembered in this browser for six months. Names, email addresses, phone numbers and enquiry answers are not sent as Analytics event data.
The website also uses browser storage to remember the introductory wordmark and support the enquiry and chat journeys. If you accept analytics, a temporary marker helps count your completed enquiry once; it contains no enquiry answers.
Links to other websites
This website may link to other websites. Once you follow one of those links, Thief Hall does not control the other website and cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of information you provide there. Those sites are not governed by this privacy policy.
Controlling your personal information
If you have previously agreed to Thief Hall using your personal information for direct marketing, you may change your mind by contacting Thief Hall.
If you believe information held about you is incorrect or incomplete, please write or email as soon as possible so it can be corrected.
